I'm not sure what you mean here...
If you're talking about shortening your link before using it, then I do it all the time. If I suggested bit.ly it's because of the possibility to customize your links, like this
bit.ly/MoneyWithOTOs - this is more "elegant" than a long complicated link. I have no experience with tiny.cc, if they let you do the same thing then I guess it's fine.
Note that you can't post ClickBank or JvZoo links to Twitter, or even shorten them with most URL shorteners. They'll either be simply rejected, or a big fat warning will be shown to anyone visiting the link.
Any other link is OK as far as I know (not sure about Amazon affiliate links).
